Nissan Maxima cars are prone to have engine misfire and subsequently wont raise above 2000 - 2500RPMS. I am not a mechanic, but having owned one and have been able to scale through the huddle, i think we can share ideas here.

The car is super electronically run and thereby poses much problems as our mechanics cant seems to get to know whatever problem, no matter how little this might be.

Transmission issues. Shudders violently

my boda, am sure u are God sent, nobody has an answer for my 2000 maxima and everybody says its d engine yet one guy told me lately dat its not. Dis is d case, 1st of all, i get white smokes (the cars choses wen to give dis). Secondly, i put off d ac during hold ups cos it might go off. Wen starting it in d mornin, it takes like 5mins to rev and warm up. I hope am explaining dis properly. Other issues are mechanical and can be fixed. It jerks wen am trin to slow down. I have not been able to sell my ride cos of dis, i bot it dat way though. Wat do u tink? Am @ stankion@yahoo.co.uk. I would rili love a reply. Tanx.
