i think it is only the pinging and some other applications that will be allowed on android ,blackberry will sti retain their browing platform ,i think.
@op,there is nothing specia about bb apart from the pinging,i once used bold 2 and bold 3 i sold them after 2 weeks ,bb batteries are bad BUT in a country like nigeria bb remains the number one choice for CHEAP mobile internet connection.that is the truth.if u buy an android expect to spend up to 3k on the megabyte that bb will give u for just 1k
but in terms of functions and other things i personaly feel that anroids are better.
even in most west african countries bb arent popular because data is cheap,i dont know why our networks are just exploiting nigerians

I'd advice you to go for a BlackBerry if your sole aim of owning a smart phone is to browse and social networking. But if you are the techy type, I'd advice you to go for an Android device. But take note that Androids suck data like crazy. That 15MB you are talking about can finish in a day even if you didn't do anything (background data ish).

Lol @ 15Mb for 3days..bro u killed it there, 15mb for me won't last 2mins..but since u said u browse a lot I will advise you go for a blackberry coz its cheap in terms of data bundle..most service providers offer unlimited mb @ little cozt e.g etisalat
But if you want a real deal go for android but note dat it is not data friendly you will spend a lot as a heavy user dat you are.

I will advice u to go for an andriod phone if u do watch videos on youtube and other sites. U can't stream video online using a bberry phone.

i will advice you,if you are the kind of guy that dont want to learn,maybe u want something easy and accessible, i think u shud go for BB,but if your brains are ready for question and answer then join us on android where every body must be a geek....bro 15mb na just for my morning browsing in my toilet seat,,,,i used an app from market to check my downloads from my android apps ,i found out i used 345mb in 3 days, just minus 53mb of game of the throne,others are being sucked by apps..i dont think u are ready for such......

better go for android bb is a phone meant for 14yr old girls and 11yr old boys

But that's the truth..on a very good day 15mb can take me within 10 seconds to exhaust I do a lot of browsing and downloading, ok let's say you have 15mb and you want 2browse, watch youtube videos and maybe download a movie you don't expect 15mb to take you tru dis task..so I was not exaggerating,some days I use over 2GB.
