The facial nerve runs somewhere near the parotid and the vein follows the same course
The maxillary vein can never be that big
Try sucking your lips like that guy And touch your face and feel the muscle contracting on your zygomatic bone

but look at the fossa between the buccinator and the zygomatic muscles, there is a slight prominence there
