WASHINGTON -- The owner of a multimillion-dollar home on Foxhall Road in northwest D.C. was evicted on Monday.

The homeowner, Oladipo Aina, is a Nigerian-born CEO of a company called "The Potentional Millionaires Investment Club International." His business card says he is a foreclosure specialist.

Workers emptied the contents of the five-bedroom, 5,000-square foot home onto the sidewalk Monday.

Federal marshals looked on as two Rolls Royces were towed from the driveway.

"I am not afraid," Aina said.

Bank records show Aina and his associates in October were served with a 30-day notice to quit and vacate because another owner had purchased the home in a foreclosure sale.

"They are lying," Aina said.

Chairs, furniture and bags of personal effects took up nearly half a city block, causing people who live in the neighborhood to stop and stare.



"It's pretty crazy, actually," said neighbor Marissa Rauch. "It shows you it can happen anywhere."

"We never see anything like this," said neighbor Patti Harburger. "But people are always curious about that house because the blinds are always down. We never see people going in and out."

Aina has 24 hours to move his possessions. He said he's been railroaded.

"I have 30,000 acres of emerald mines worth billions," he said. He said the mines are located in Zambia.

Aina said he will move into an $8 million home in McLean as soon as he can get the people living there to move out.

After reading the link and 80 comments, I don't feel pity about Oladipo Aina, is a Nigerian-born CEO business.  Because he failed to pay the 30-years mortgage payments on time, just like everyone else who woe in financial crisis on mortgage meltdown.

Nobody rush to help him out in Washington DC on the ground of eviction.  You ought to read what most people posted from the 80 comments as follow below link provided:

Well he was treated like any other person that don't make their mortgage payments on time. He only has himself to blame. He must have stopped communicating with the bank for them to foreclose. Move on rich man get somewhere else to leave.

I honestly don't know why he started boasting about his diamond mines in zambia and another $8M house here in the States, that's what sparked most of the hate comments on Nigerians. If he has those mines in Zambia, why couldn't he pay his mortgage? The comments on Aina are filled with hate and those guys wouldn't have spewed all those rubbish if he came from another country.

How did you come to the conclusion that he is 419?  There is no indication that he is fraudulent only that his rich neighbours complained that he is creepy(all rich people are creepy anyway) afterall many Nigerians here are that rich. Will you make the same assumption if he is a white man or Chinese?

He may have been doing business legally in Zambia, inherited them from someone or he's just a big mouthed fella that just incured the wrath of IRS that will soon come after his ass.

Instead of us bashing Mr. Aina and posting rubbish on Nairaland, I think we should focus more on educating these dead heads, by sharing wonderful things that have come out of Nigeria.

The percentage of Internet scam criminals in Nigeria or from Nigeria is less than 2%. It is unfair and unreasonable to label the entire country as criminals based on the actions of less than 2%.

I think we should all wake up and fight for our great image.
