What is the difference btw notebook and laptop or are they virtually the the same. I need one for my m.sc (ICT) program . One of the lecturers ,insisted for a laptop with the mathlab installed before you enters his class. So which do i buy btw laptop and notebook. Will the matlab program work on both and to what extent. Can i get both with both bluetooth and webcam. I have about forty thousand to spend and am looking at belgium one.

ironically laptop is d samething as notebook, it should b laptop & netbook u're refering, netbook is dat mini size laptop without disk drive & it has lower specs than d conventional notebook(laptop), my opinion get a laptop, it will run matlab & other programming lang & compilers, for best performance lookout 4 a laptop with d following specs:
Ram 2-4gb
Processor- intel dual core or core i-series(i3,i5,i7)
Check out one of them dell inspiron or hp pavillion gseries dey should come with dose specs at around 65-75k or , aurevoir.

thanks but am not considering minilaptop or netbook at all. How do i detect faulty ones or bad ones or the grade of the laptop ,if am buying belgium one.
