Country people make una help me put mouth into this case, This one happened in my face korokoro, Husband and wife dey work for same comapny but of different department, it happens that the boss to the wife is junior to the Husband in terms of position within the same organization, now the wife violated the company policy and that required that the wife's boss to decipline the wife by issuing to her querry and warning letters, this development angered the husband and that made him(husband) set up the wife's boss and have him moved from the present position to a lower level or accept to resign his appointment, this happen in an international comapny controlled mostly by blacks, now the tori be say, if na you be the wife's boss, wetin you go do in this situation, and or If na you be the husband as mentioned here wetin you for do when your wife complained this to you, Don't you think that your wife may look at you as very weak to protect her interest in organization that you are one of the movers and shakers if you failed?, .....Let's have your say

Husband was inappropriate, wrong and should not be working for that company. As long as the wife was not being unfairly victimised, the husband has to stay out of it.

Every company has a corporate handbook on ethical and unethical behavior. Issues pertaining to conflict of interest are in this handbook. Most companies usually advise that if your decision-making skill is/will be clouded due to conflict of interest, someone has to be moved to a different branch. If that's the only company location, one of you gats to go (not in all cases).

Now the husband has handled this issue in a personal way instead of a professional way. The relationship he has with his wife has clouded his judgment and he is now incapable of handling his responsibilities in his workplace with fairness. You can look at it as a case of discrimination and unfair judgment.

Take it to the HR person at work and hope he/she escalates the matter. If nothing is been done, get a lawyer. Everyone has a right to be treated fairly both in their personal and professional space. Good luck!
