Almighty ‘Jagaban’ of Nigeria came in into town some minutes past 10 am and touched down from his chopper right in front of the Governors house at Agodi and immediately got into the Governors convoy straight to the venue for the commissioning of the Flyover bridge at Mokola. The whole area in front of Citadel computers end of the bridge was filled with people from all walks of life, including Governors, lawmakers, Obas, Chiefs, Imams, Bishops, politicians and of course- JAGABAN! Politics... the only profession in Nigeria where people are hailed to high heavens, parties and carnivals are held and roads blocked, simply because they're doing their jobs.

Nigeria is a place where a governor can spend more on "commissioning" a borehole than the actual construction cost of the borehole.

I wonder if the cost of this jamboree is not equal to the cost of the bridge.
