The Onikan Stadium, Lagos last weekend Played host to a mouth watering encounter between 2 Lagos based Nigeria Professional Football League teams CodUnited Fc and MFM Football Club. The Local derby also known as the Holy Ghost derby was full of actions. The two teams are owned by City Of David, a branch of The Redeemed Christian Church of God while MFM is owned by Mountain Of Fired Ministries. The Visiting team Mountain of Fire Ministries Fired through to win 2 to 1. here are the Pictures from the game. MzHolly: this is lovelier than the country's league this was actually a league game (div 2) seems you've not watched the Nigerian League of recent, it has really improved. I'll be covering Npl games as soon as second stanza starts. |
