The monthly pay is very very good compared to Nigeria...US$1 = B$2...but the cost of living is very high. Living conditions are very good but expensive....constant electricity, water, good roads, services, schools, medical facilities, etc....nothing sub standard. Tourism is the main industry so lots of hotels etc. If you are thinking about going as a tourist...fine...if you are going for education ... fine...if you are going to overstay, to find a job, to buy property, to start a new life...forget about it...it is a small island with a small population...nowhere to run nowhere to hide and their immigration and police don't play.

How about if i decide to Stay longer after 6 months can't i renew my visa?is it possible to Enter USA from there upon Invitation by an American..i.e K visa,urgent response.thanks.

It is extremely difficult for non Barbadian citizens to own land or property. They are very protective of their small island ...go visit..spend money..stay as long as they allow you to...but Barbados belong to Barbadians. Many wealthy and famous Europeans have been trying for decades...nothing changed. @Ogun...I really don't know about you getting an American visa from there...but what I know is they don't have a problem getting visa to the US or the UK.Don't forget what I said earlier about their immigration and police.
