[b]both are bad, but low self-esteem is the most destructive.... it cant be controlled by the victim, its a virus, a hidden one that kills per event or incidence.
for over-bloated ego, not as bad as the formal, because the carrier can/must control it.. under certain environments and situations, also bad as it may, over-bloated ego is sometimes wrongly perceived as confidence or charisma, and can give the carrier some added advantage under some events/circumstansies.

Low self esteem tends to be felt more by d individual while an over bloated ego is felt by others around d person.

The OP should have asked which one is worse.

Over inflated ego it is 'cos it has a spiralling effect on those around the person having it unlike low self esteem that majorly shortchanges the 'host' individual.

But out of human selfishness, most ppl wud rather choose to have an over inflated ego than a low self esteem.

Low self esteem is terrible. You have no idea what it can do to a person

Inflated ego is horrible. You have no idea what it can do to the people around you

So no one is better. They are both bad.
But low self esteem is just so terrible that the person will just stagnate himself in life by his self. That's SMH.
