Where was the marriage committee when she wore that dress? Where were they when she wed with dress? Were they not supposed to "scrutinise" the dress before the wedding day? Let's even pretend they forgot to; then they saw her in the church with all the "lower than standard" dressing and make up and still wed them? Would they have wed them if they were "common" people?They are just doing all these to appease to the dissappointed society and members and that even worsens the hypocrisy cos it begs the question; why wed them in the first place? There's no regret on the TV issue. The world of believers will be better off without the gay and Lesbian infested CNN and all their drug infested transgender friends who daily parades all over naked and and are called celebrities. dfav: Christianity is not about your tradition; culture nor your temperaments

tradition: I must not live my life like an American nor an israelis to b a born again Christian

culture : I must not wear suit and tie or dress like a yoruba man to be saved

temperaments: I must not talk calm like kumuyi or adeboye nor should I speak Queens English like oyakilome or big big grammar like okotie to make heaven.

irrespective of my tradition; culture and temperament if I invite jesus into my heart confess and believe he is the son of God I am saved.

but take note

if I want to be part of a particular local church congregation I must abide to their tradition; culture and temperament in order to be a member. if not you will be called a rebellious Christian.

although this will not stop you from making heaven but for peace sake please go to a church or congregation that you can fit into their tradition; culture and temperament.

candiva2013: It is most unfortunate that some of us have forgoten that obidience is better than sacrifice. Once u are a member of an organisation it means that u are subject to their rules. If u disobey, it is wrong. Every church, family, school, community etc have their own rules which every member must obey. John and Love erred by not obeying the rules of the church they belong to.

candiva2013: show me where GOD said in the bible that men should not make rules that will guide them. It is not a sin if u were wedding gown or not but if ur church says no wedding gown as a member of that church, u must obey. When u disobey, it is a sin. Ur own church even ur family have rules. What u tolerate, others may not and what others tolerate, u may not.

candiva2013: what u have said is quite irelevant because as humans we make rules to guide us as a people provided they are not fetish. Even the bible enjoins us to obey those in authority. If u work in a company for instance, ur resumption time could be 7:30 if u choose to come by 8 it means that u've disobeyed the authority. People can go to work by 8,9 or even 10 if their company permits. In the bible, there is no specification for wedding dress. These are choices we have to make on our own provided what ever is worn by the bride is not indicent

The church belongs to GOD and he does not make rules , he gives us moral commands to obey , which if we do, we will live and have eternal life.

To add rules and regulations to the church is what Pharisees do , this was why Jesus rebuked them harshly a lot of times.

candiva2013: Maybe u have a different unstanding of the word 'rules'. Rules are moral guidience. Whether u call it moral command they still the same. Ur church has a restmptiom time for every activities which may differ from that of others. If u don't come at the time the church has commanded then u have erred. Which means u have not obeyed ur church. The wedding gown people wear is not even in the bible, wedding ring is also not there. These are the commands of men which is subject to change.

candiva2013: it is also a burden to some people when u tell them to wear wedding gown if i am to unstand the way u do. Wedding gown is not in the bible therefore they are rules or commands of men and not that of GOD. Any church as every right to reject it.
