OK after much analysis, study, research, consultancies, etc .lol we have come up with the list of 10 artists in 9ja that are over-rated, either they are just there or they have vanished completely or they are not worthy enough to be celebrities. Watch out for the BUT

Real name: Sidney Onoriode Esiri, is an artist signed under MAVIN records, we all know his hits and shine, the days of Over the moon, something about you, Pop champagne etc, BUT this YEAR the champagne crooner has been on a low, no HITS, no song to top charts, no video, Just a cinema session where he rented a hall for 200 to watch super-man.. lol … fit enough to be in our number 10 position for over-rated artist’s of the year
9. JAYWON

Jaywon a.k.a oba onitinko is a confirm (A) list artist, he got much success and respect after dropping his debut album “INKO ANGEL” since then he has established himself as one of Naija’s finest arts getting featured by Essence – facebook love, and Goldie – jawo jawo BUT this year, Mr. jaywon isn’t capable of hitting the tops even after dropping hits like catch me if you can ft iceprince and phenom, madantin, God-sent, Amen, etc this Kennis music star has to focus on his work and blend his music in a way that will fit in if he wants to make it big like fellow artist’s.
8. WACOMZY

Wacomzy a.k.A supa-man, real name: Kelvin anyanwu is the C.E.O of DV8 media has a wide range of audience in 9ja, with his hit songs Ikebe super, Celebrate, and too much money. BUT in 2013 he has dropped songs which he is finding hard to appease his fans with songs like Amosu, Sweet me like, he also has a Pay Back Album + an international tour.
Wacomzy is overated for falling to push his presence into mega deal, shows, endorsement, and tours oversees that is being graced by the likes of iyanya, wizkid, Kcee, etc.
7. FAZE
(still looking for his twitter handle)
Real name: Chibuzor Oji was a member of the defunct Plantashun Boiz along with blackface and Tuface. Faze is known for getting platinum after going PLATINUM with his three albums. BUT in 2013, - (sorry since 2009-2010 when he dropped that GEAR ONE – RELATE) he obviously lost out with his fans (and his battle with Tuface lol) thus came the downfall of the best vocalist ever in Nigeria.
6. Jesse-Jagz

Jesse-jagz who was signed to chocolate city (according to rumour that he has split with the management) was one of the best rappers and fans favourite during the days of WETIN-DEY, but this nigga just disappeared into thin air claiming he had to go into production and focus on school work. BUT in 2013 (his pimple battered face is still there after how many years – tell him I have a cream that will wipe that shit out… ) Ehen back to the matter: I don’t know if the nigga joined ARMY tho, we started hearing about this JAGZ NATION; he dropped murder dem, and redemption. This nigga still hasn’t been able to force himself back to the top since he came back from exile.
5. Mo-Cheddah

Real name: Modupe Oyeyemi, (someone shout: ko ma roll) was definitely one of the brightest acts in Africa at about the same time with WIzkid, she graced events, won best female act n MTV awards, BUT It’s been a while since the ‘Franchise Celebrity’ has been the rave of the scene, at least not since she dropped her Dance Pop tune, “Louder”… about this time last year.
4. AFRICAN CHINA

real name is Timothy Chinagorom Onuoha , African China first got into music at the early age of 7 and after Secondary School, turned it into his chosen profession. His debut album CRISIS was released in 2002, followed by MR. PRESIDENT in 2005. African China won a lot of accolades and was deemed s the next African King of urban Reggae BUT in 2013 ( abeg who knows the year he went into exile? Is it 2006?) This guy just ran away from the scene, maybe due to the rumour about being charged with sex crimes in the UK. His if you love somebody song with FAZE (another over-rated artist) should have been able to bring him back BUT ….
3. PHENOM

Knighthouse General Phenom became a household name after he was featured on M.I’s 6ft’ 7ft’ of the illegal Music 2 and since then this nigga has been featured on like 10000000 songs, now get this PHENOM is Over-rated because there is this feeling everywer that phenom is the best rapper in Nigeria (if you’re the best in Nigeria then you’re the best in Africa..)) Now PHENOM IS THE BEST RAPPER IN AFRICA---- isn’t this statement OVERrated? That nigga that spit those crap lines in catch me if you can (jaywon featured) I REST MY CASE
2. SKALES - EME

Lol lemme start by laughing. How can a nigga be signed under same EME (that brought out wizkid) since 2009 and is still an UPCOMING ARTIST. The nigga skales has been there long in the game but has failed to impress his image on the Nigerian music scene. At times he drops cool singles, video plays on MTV, Sound city, trace etc has been featured by a great host of artists, has the best team (EME) any artist will dream of having, THEN what is this nigga still waiting for? BUT the year 2013 has been impressive for him, at least he dropped three singles : enter the action, Denge Pose, take care of me etc, really wish he comes out with something great that will boost his image..
