This definition may mean little to some but for others it describes a lifestyle that they want to either change or have learned to accept. Addictions are just another way for the enemy to gain control over our lives by making us slaves to things that may seem harmless. Did you know that according to the ALA (American Lung Association) “Cigarette smoke contains over 4,800 chemicals, 69 of which are known to cause cancer. Smoking is directly responsible for approximately 90 percent of lung cancer deaths and approximately 80-90 percent of COPD (emphysema and chronic bronchitis) deaths.” With these numbers you would assume everyone would want to stop but the enemies grasp on their lives are so strong that wanting to quit is just not enough. That’s why when things began to be too much Ifrah Abraham sought a source she knew could deliver her from her addiction.
Ifrah abraham is originally from Ethiopia but now resides in Vancouver Canada. For 16 years she was addicted to smoking and she testifies that the addiction wasn’t the only thing that came with it. She had to also deal with smelly hands and hair, bad breath, and brown teeth. However in January of this year she decided to stop and went running to God for help. Since she didn’t know how to pray she googled “prayer” and came upon Emmanuel TV where she began to pray with Prophet T.B Joshua. After two weeks she lost all cravings for cigarettes and can’t stand the smell! 5 months later she is still free from the addiction that the enemy used to cling himself to her.
Glory be to God! His healing power is enough to save, deliver and bless all who seek a solution within his refuge. All it takes is coming to Him with your problem. As it says in Isaiah 59:1 “Surely His arm is not too short to save nor his ear to dull to hear.” So what are you waiting for? Your salvation, your deliverance, your healing is just a prayer away. Have faith in knowing that if God can heal Ifrah from 16 years of smoking, that He wants to heal you also! God has broken the chains, now it’s time to walk in your freedom.
