As a blogger or website owner we all want the best for our sites, most especially a higher page ranking in search engines, particularly the giant Google.com, we also desires good Alexa Rating and So many more. That is why every Webmasters, blogger alike wants relevant forums, blogs, or website to leave a backlink.

It is no nolonger news that Google and other major search engines like bing and a host of others hold .edu and .gov backlinks in high esteem, meaning a single .edu backlink is equivalent to 100 .com backlinks.

It is almost difficult to get these kind of sites with just Google and no important string and so many webmasters and bloggers finds it extremely difficult to lay hands on this all important sites to drop their links or make comments.

There are a whole lot of software that will help you and anyone else do this with ease, but certainly, they will cost you a lot of money.

In this post, I am showing you how to use just Google search to get .edu or .gov blogs and websites to get backlinks.

The steps are:

1.) To Find .edu Forums That allows Signature (a link to your site)

Go to Google.com and type in the following words

“powered by vbulletin” site:.edu

“powered by phpbb” site:.edu

“powered by smf” site:.edu

2.) To find ,edu blogs or sites that allow comments

Go to Google.com and type in the following words

KEYWORDS “powered by wordpress” site:.edu

KEYWORDS “leave a comment” site:.edu

KEYWORDS “reply to post” site:.edu

Note: Replace Keywords with the keyword of your choice, e.g Creating blog “powered by wordpress” site:.edu

do-follow or no-follow, it does not matter. What matters is that you are participating in a community and right now, Google encourages that. Just make sure you use your real name and not your keyword as the name when commenting or your comment might be removed.

It is natural to have both do follow and no follow links, search engine like Google use this to know how natural your links are and it helps to reduce attack from penguin!

Whether they are dofollow or noffolw, participating in such a community or environment is very good for your own blog. However, there are those that are dofollw.
