Mehn!! I am impressed with this guy for hitting the right notes. These include: The books of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John are not the Gospels. In other words: Jesus, while alive Did not reveal the gospel. Yes!! that's right. That's why Jesus spoke in parables, and as long as you keep hearing parables, symbols and allegories, It is not the Gospel because you do not understand the message yet. Thus Christ's saying: 12“I still have a lot to say to you, but you cannot bear it now. 13Yet when the Spirit of Truth comes, he’ll guide you into all truth...(John 16:12...) So the Gospel truly started after the death and resurrection of christ, with the Pentecost. That was when they recieved the understanding to decode christ's messages in the parables. This is why people who want to model themselves after the pre-crucifixon christ are not actually following christianity but are following the laws of Moses, which Jesus is the personification of. That Jesus was of the law,not of the Gospel. 2 Likes |

So he's not totally there yet, but he's using good, explosive and true concepts and words leading in the direction of the Gospel. Once again; It cannot be over-emphasized that the gospel started after the death and ressurrection of Christ; not during his life.  1 Like |

frosbel: Jesus peached the law(parables), not the Gospel. Of course there are miracles in the law too, just like in any religion or spiritual system. Signs and wonders does not translate to "New Testermant" |

frosbel: There cannot be "The Gospel" while the law(which Jesus represented) is still standing. Jesus's death represented the death of the Law, paving the way for the revelation(decoding) of the parables(which is the language of the law). So that revelation of truth is the gospel itself, while the hiding(parables, shadows, allegories) of truth is the law. That's why Paul used this description for people of the law: 15But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; 16but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away...(2 Corinthians 3:15...) |

Another hint : Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. "The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!" - Mark 1:14-15 Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is WITHIN you." - Luke 17:20-21 |

Frosbel, like I said earlier the gospel Jesus preached was the gospel of the kingdom for the children of Israel, that was why he made statements like this- 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Paul would also say- Romans 15 8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: |

^^^Remember we had a conversation about repentance and being born again- these are words you would come across very often in the four gospels but less or almost nothing of that nature when it comes to the gospel of God to the church. |

frosbel: The true gospel is one and that is the one Jesus preached bUt we can't find it now what we are using now is historical records which is according to matt. Mk. Luke and John those who compiled the bible are not sure cos they did not receive it direct or has seen their seal, signature or full names, that is why the gospels are written as according to so and so in inverted commas. In these historic books we can see that Jesus went places and preached the gospels and we know that he was given a book from God which he uses to preach, but for sure we know he was not holding Matthew Mark, Luke and John because they were written 40 yrs after he has left the earth. So that he preached is the Gospel. In these historic records there are things we can count on and that we can't count on, e.g in Mark where he said a true believer can drink poison and speak languages, we can't acertain that. Then we see that really Jesus christ thus said in John 16, that the spirit of truth will come and guide us to all truth which is Mohammad and the Quran which has guidiance to all truth. |

The gospel of Christ - the death, burial and resurrection of Christ A.K.A THE "IT IS FINISHED" WORKS OF CHRIST is the power of God unto salvation.
