I'm really fed up of this mechanic...

All we have fixed was detected and fixed by other people I called from outside ...

He knows close to nothing ...

My fear is towing the car out of his workshop again... can't keep calling people everyday to come help him on his job ...


He said he checked the timing today and its correct but as u said, I don't think he knows his onions... based on track record over the past one week

Do not bother, chances that you will get a sound one are very slim. Iv seen too many of them.

If it is put up for sale, most times the owner is runnig away from a tonne of problems and wants to pass it on to the new buyer.

Thanks Boss for the tip/advice, I was thinking of maybe buying a personal mobile app controlled OBD scanner to scan the vehicle when inspecting and only go ahead to buy one without "tonne of problems" , but rather buying one with a satisfactory result from the scanner.

Could the above idea help me to overcome being trapped into buying a problematic used odyssey coz I seem to like the ride, and do not want to purchase a problematic ride, would love to hear back from u Boss?

I was checking price of cars in jiji and most of the volkswagen golf 4 price I saw in katsina is 200-300 and is tokunbo and I don't know why d price of car drastically fall because I want to buy online from katsina to maiduguri

exhaust check,plug/misfire check says all is well,
yet the engine shakes until it reached 2000rpm,it idle at 800/900rpm, another mechanic says timing might not be well set, should I allow him to set timing chain again
check if the engine sits are intact before permitting him to check the timing

Don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but please someone should help. My Lexus 300 battery just drains anyhow these days. I came back around 4pm today and parked outside my house, only for me to go to drive it in now and the battery is dead again, it won't start!
I'm just sitting here confused, don't know if I should cry coz I have an appointment by 7am tomorrow, please any helpful tip at all sad

Its toyota corolla Verso supposed to be an MPV version of the corolla. Just make sure it isnt converted from RHD to LHD or the conversion was done well. Its a car you will enjoy.
