Does anybody know an Acura Mechanic who can upgrade the Transmission software of a 2010 Acura MDX? The transmission jerks at low rpms. Research shows that the problem was identified in the US and a recall was ordered and the problem fixed. I am in PH area. Thanks |

Hello. Please I drive a 2003 Honda accord EOD. I had a problem with its Steering rack which was leaking and made the steering hard. The steering pump was also making noise which I was told was caused by the leaking rack so I took it to Ladipo where it was fixed. After fixing the rack, the steering became soft but the pump was still making noise. After some weeks my mechanic advised to let him go and fix the pump in Ladipo so it wouldn't damage the rack I went to fix and regrettably, I agreed. After fixing the pump, the noise stopped but steering is hard again. Please what can I do? |

Good morning pals .... please help I bought my car TOKUNBO Honda EOD 2003 have been busy for 1 weeks now I parked my car at my brothers place yesterday I went there to warm it and discovered that the cooling fan is not working tho I didn’t on the Ac to check if the Ac fan is working, my brother was telling me that I will change the fan but I went online to check and I was told it’s when the car is on high temperature that is when the cooling fan will start working |

That's exactly how your cooling fan should work, coming on when engine temparature is getting high. Runs when engine needs it, thermostat. Make sure to use better coolant for your car sir. dyce101: |

Hi. I am using a 2003 Toyota camry with adjusted hood. Fixing the hood will cost me thousands. I have to opportunity to switch to an acura mdx 2003 for no extra price. The camry is 160k miles with accident record. The acura is 232k repossessed. I want to drive 4k miles in 2 months and I'm scared the hood will open on the way. Gurus should please advise. |

I will be upgrading the car within a year so the mileage might not matter anyways. And with the good road, adding a couple thousand miles wont hurt either. I hear air pass through the camry hood at 90miles per hour |

Hello Engr Gazzuzz, how work today? Pls I replaced my engine and gearbox with undetached tokunbo engine and gearbox on Saturday. Up till now the car has refused to start. Three electricians. have worked on it yet all to no avail and they ascertained that the wires are properly connected, fuel comes to the engine and the engines rolls well, it shocks too but would not start. Even scanner couldn't communicate with the car. my car is corolla bank type 2006 model. So I heard that when replacing a bank model engine with a tokunbo engine (1ZZ-FE), the tokunbo engine will not work until a washer somewhere in that engine that came with the car is removed and put in the tokunbo engine. I don't just understand. Am just confused. @ Gazzuzz, pls what can you about this, help a brother ooooo |
