BREAKING NEWS: Appeal Court acquits Major Hamza Al-Mustapha Major Hamza Al-Mustapha has been discharged and acquitted from the 1996 murder of Kudirat Abiola, wife of late Chief M.K.O Abiola by the Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos. The judgment overrules the Lagos High Court's judgment of January 30 which sentenced him to death by hanging for conspiracy and murder of Kudirat Abiola, Kudirat Abiola was shot in Lagos on June 4, 1996.
