you can't use glo bis on it. only androids and iPhones can be tweaked to use it.
i don't know about the screen though.

Wonder y no one is talkin abt jail breakin,I mean tweaking to user mode. Installin personal apps and customizing... undecided
Re: Windows Mobile Naija Forum by Nobody: 8:43am On Sep 30, 2014
i dont think its a reasonable thing to do. as wp os is it is relatively secure. jail breaking will only breed room for hackers and the likes and i really love my security

We really need some of these tweaks though.
Imagine, we can't even set the network mode to 3g only. I suffer with only edge, since the 3g signal in my area isn't strong enough to surface in dual mode.

Apple is very customisable, and that's why geeks still buy them.
Microsoft is not smart at all by blocking jailbreak. If Apple blocks jailbreak, user base will take a hard plunge.

I stopped asking same question when I discovered it ain't available in a whole lot of countries. In case you don't know, you should your region to US use it in Naija.

My region is US and she's still not available.

Is it also phone restricted?

You will have to download language from ur settings and restart. Either UK or US English.

After changing you region to USA,go to settings/system and select language.Note the "Move Up" option after
long pressing the English(United States),
only with English(United States) being on
top, only will your phone's language
setting be the real-deal English(United
States). Also, make sure speech is English(United states)
Reboot you phone and you will definitely see Cortana.
It totally worked for me.

After doing all these things you have been instructed, Make sure you turn your location services/GPS ON, else you won't see cortana. tongue

I need a good budget fone for myself as a student that cost below N45,000 with a good camera quality, lots of apps ,good games, long lasting battery etc. But i,m considering the recent lumia 730. I wnted Android fone b4 but wht scares me away frm it is data consumption. So window phone users enlight me on window phone 8.1, its features especially the cortana which is another reason why i wnt to buy lumia 730. Pls enlight me base on personal expirience.

Does anyone in the house use Skype on their Windows device? I had to uninstall mine some months ago because it sucked. Today I checked the reviews in the store and apparently it sucks even more.
I don't understand how a Microsoft app could be so useless on their own device.

My skype is perfect. Though I don't use except when I needed to call Microsoft customer care to activate Windows 8.1 on my PC.
