What is the difference between Intel core 2 duo and AMD turion core 2 duo? What is the best option?

um, dude are u crazy?!! amd better than intel? why dnt you have under your hood?! FACT IS Intel is better,articles or not.Articles are just written most of the time by fanboys of either camp so its up to you to decide which is better by using either and from using both of em ill go for intel (neva liked them),definitely faster processor,cools way much better and for heavens sake AMD is still living in the past with their tech.

Thank you o jare, I always thought I was the only one for this planet earth that thought so too. Then again, you should expect all Intel's kool-aid drinkers to bite your head off for making that statement. What's even better about AMD is that it's a lot less cheaper than Intel and does exactly the same thing if not better gan pa pa. People are still looking at AMD's processor like they were back in the early 90s but fail to realize that they have improved tremendously. Intel like HP them na just name o jare. Peace!

did i ever say amd were not the first to make a 6 bit proc?being the first to create doesn't make you better,it only spurs others to do better and if you dnt innovate your left eating dust.YES amds are cheaper simply because they cannot compete with intel in the price for power department which everyone knows.would anyone pay what they were paying for intel procs for an AMD one? didnt think so.just take a look at the latest offerings from both companies,you dnt have to be a rocket scientist to read the specs and tests run to know which is faster and better.AMD were top dog 4-5years back but today intel rules.the pendulum swings faster than you can think of buying a new proc and since basically most ppl are in Niaja and basically get procs 'late' what do u expect if ppl still live in the past.FACT:Nehalem procs from INTEL are faster,better and more bang for your buck than any AMD offering today including their triple core proc
