proudlysports: I would like to suggest to the FA that since the female league lacks sponsors, they should let the women play their matches just before the men's games. This will ensure followership especially if the gate fees are on a buy one get one free basis. So for instance if you buy ticket for Dolphins vs Enyimba in PH starting at 4pm, you can watch Rivers Angels vs whoever at 2pm just before the Dolphins game.

exactly,,i wish delta queens were playing in warri city stadium instead of stephen keshi stadium in asaba,,,pple wud have love to watch their match cuz warri wolves only play on wednesday and sunday and the women play on fridays and saturdays

Is there any women's club based in the east. I fear not. Most clubs are in the south-south.

I see no reason why Abiola babes should not be converted to a female team. Are those guys that play in that club not ashamed to be playing for a club that has babes as part of it's name? Same with Ebonyi angels. There are some names you don't use to name a male team cos it makes them appear weak.

How about Angels Michael and Gabriel?

However, clubs like Rangers or Enyimba can set their own female teams.

It will also give them well deserved viewership and may even attract sponsors.

No wonder there are so many igbo girls in the South-south clubs,,and this is one of the reason Eastern states always struggle like the northern states in national sports festivals

This is restricted to female football only. I'm surprised though cos the East and the South-South are the most active peeps in female football. This is evident from the line-ups of the Falcons.

Fellow landers for a moment of thinking my mind just glanced through some noticeable fact, nigeria as a country has different states, different languages and different people....etc.And talking about states and the people in it,they are mostly known by their life style....states like.....
1.Akwa ibom-----there men are hard working, handsome and also good on bed...you know what i mean.wrongful pronounciation of words.
2.anambara-----these people are also know of there afrobeat music, hard working and most importantly ritualists..they over care about money and biz.
3.Edo-----for there girls, they are known for there prostitution and witch craft.
4.calabar--they are known for sexual abuse(rape)..... Fellow nairalander you can contribute to it if you have any.....

Wow! Never knew there was such an interest in the NWFL. I've covered some of the games but didn't upload it cos I thought no one gives a damn. (silly me). I'll go ahead and upload pics of fc Robo in one of their games recently.
