Today 27th July, marks the 156th year of Christianity in Nigeria. It is worthy to remember that it marks the entrance of Christian missionaries to our country in the year of our Lord 1857. They were brought in by the Late Samuel Ajayi Crowther.


Lets try and bless this day because it is among what makes us who we are today. Notwithstanding your religion, lets share Love and Peace between one another today because we are One...

Okay, cool but there have been some missionary activities before 1857. Actually the first missionaries entered 'Nigeria' in the fifteenth century but they were not successful in establishing their presence.

thats definitely possible. But i guess the 1857 is the recorded time because that was when an indigene helped them make waves.
