A Plea From A Malaysian To Nigerians by malaysian: 8:42pm On May 27, 2008
I am a Malaysian living in Kuala Lumpur. In recent years, there are many Nigerians who have opted to live in the condominium towers I have been living in since 2008. Ours is a pleasant residential area until the Nigerian Mess/Menace started especially in the past 4 or 5 years.

I know them as Nigerians because I made it a point to find out before I registered an account to post freely here. I will try and be as amicable as possible. I have developed racist tendencies because of the actions of your countrymen where I live. In the past years, the following are some of the incidents that took place where I am.

1. Murder of a Nigerian by his fellow countrymen. He was thrown down from one of the top floors of the tower their (the Nigerians) apartment is on. Apparently, most of them were drunk and had gotten involved in more than just a common brawl. One of them obviously suffered the brunt because he was not just beaten up by his country men but after receiving the beating that made him unconscious, the other Nigerians threw him down the hill from their apartment.

2. Fire in my condo tower. Three Nigerian men and two women (also Nigerian) had gotten into a fight (why do you people fight so much). In the heat of the moment, they had set the garbage room on fire. The entire floor was engulfed with black smoke and it took one of our own men to call the fire brigade in to put out the fire.

3. Major ruckus caused by wild parties. There are weekly parties where your fellow countrymen get drunk. They are very loud, and talk with each other on top of their voices. The women are just as wild. Sometimes, they get more than a little frisky with each other in the bushes. Local women and children no longer venture out to the clubhouse or the gorgeous vicinity around our condo resort freely anymore. Nigerians make lewd remarks and look at us like a piece of meat even when we are out taking our children for their walks.

4. Most of the Nigerians do not work. They loaf around doing nothing all day. They claim to be students and don't attend college. Recently I found out that a year's worth student visa can be purchased at only Ringgit Malaysia (RM) 4, 000. Some of them drive expensive rented vehicles and they don't appear to even work. Then it came to my knowledge that a few Nigerians have "adopted" illegal Filipina women and are now pimping them. Hence… the wealth!

5. Just last week when a few of us mothers were supervising our children at the kiddie pool, a few Nigerians chose to "drift" away towards us and sat in the most offensive manner in front of us while rubbing their crotch. The five of us quickly bundled up our children and fled back to our respective apartments. Upon checking the next day with the pool house manager, we discovered they are Nigerians.

6. The "nicer" ones, oh yes there are some: usually ask for money to load up their pre paid call cards. They usually ask the local men who give them RM10 just to get them (the Nigerians) out of the way.

7. About 3 years ago, a Nigerian my husband befriended was asked to leave the apartment he was supposed living in with other Nigerians. Out of pity my husband offered him our guest room for the night (only one night). But the Nigerian took advantage of our hospitality by overstaying. He went on to stay for 10 days and when he left, we found more than a few valuables missing. And of course we lodged a police report. The police told us that nothing could really be done about the matter.

8. My husband even loaned about RM1, 000 to a so called Nigerian student (we later found out that he was not one). He never paid us back. We took him to church with us and he made a pass on one of my friends who had just had a new baby. Like that is not enough, he even started the bogus tale about his father being a deceased politician back home and that he has a lot of money on hold in the bank and would like the church to help him secure the money with of course that a healthy commission would be paid to the church for their kindness. We of course knew that it was all a scam because the local media has been highlighting the famous Nigerian scam that month.

9. Three years ago, a Nigerian boy was chased to our car park by some local youths. The Nigerian has performed some lewd act to local girl. To call for attention as the local youth had beaten him up quite badly, the Nigerian had kicked and broken the windshield of a car nearby. Guess what the car was ours. My husband and I ended up very busy that morning making numerous trips to the police station. Again we had to bear the damage ourselves.

So here are some of the horror stories about your countrymen (would you like to hear some more? I have plenty!).

Oh I forgot, some years ago 5 Nigerian men kidnapped a local school girl and ended up keeping her as a sex slave for a week. She was released after that. Those men were never found.

Do you even blame us for feeling what we feel about Nigerians? If you are visiting my country, please learn to respect our local customs and please respect the women here. Malaysians are a tolerant bunch but it will not be long if your countrymen choose to misbehave.

Looks like the real decent Nigerians dont bother to emigrate to countries like Malaysia, too bad you had our bad eggs. I'm sure you have your bad eggs too eh.

Most are not from respectable homes. Let the law take its cause against these nuisances.

The Nigerian criminals  in Malaysia do not out number the Malaysian criminals.
I can't apologise for criminals.

and no Malaysian has ever murdered a fellow Malaysian.
Nonsense!
This is the first murder case in the city of Kuala Lumpur that it should make history?

Fire in my condo tower. Three Nigerian men and two women (also Nigerian) had gotten into a fight (why do you people fight so much). In the heat of the moment, they had set the garbage room on fire. same as above Malaysians don't fight and your fire brigade is busy putting out Nigerian made fires?
get a life!

3. Major ruckus caused by wild parties. There are weekly parties where your fellow countrymen get drunk. They are very loud, and talk with each other on top of their voices. .

It's not anyone's fault if you choose to live in the wrong part of town sorrounded by hoodlums and criminals.
I also live with a few Nigerians in my neighborhood. We have a neighborhood pool and playground and the Nigerians I know are not in that category.
You may need to move to a better neighborhood than live in cheap crime infested places then blame it on Nigerians.

6. The "nicer" ones, oh yes there are some: usually ask for money to load up their pre paid call cards. They usually ask the local men who give them RM10 just to get them (the Nigerians) out of the way.

The nicer ones, whatever you mean by that nonsense.
Somehow you found some nicer criminals amongst the criminals? shocked shocked shocked
Suddenly your experience with a thief (unproven though) has qualified all Nigerians.
Learn to choose your "friends" better.
I don't let just anyone in my home neither should any reasonable individual.

You are one racist female pig.
Tell us more since you are a specialist at Nigerian crimes.
I live in a country with a sizeable number of Nigerians yet most of the crime on TV is by non Nigerians, how shocking shocked shocked
How is Malaysia any different?
Like I said before, you may need to move out out of Govt assisted housing to a nicer area with less crime.
Why would you choose a pimping zone as a place to bring up a family?

Oh I forgot, some years ago 5 Nigerian men kidnapped a local school girl and ended up keeping her as a sex slave for a week. She was released after that. Those men were never found.

Your hatred shows forth again, are we suprised ?
Were they tried and convicted or we ought to take your words?

Do you even blame us for feeling what we feel about Nigerians? If you are visiting my country, please learn to respect our local customs and please respect the women here. Malaysians are a tolerant bunch but it will not be long if your countrymen choose to misbehave.

Your fore fathers migrated there you tell us, why don't you move back to India or wherever they sailed from, there may be people who feel the same exact way at your presence there especially when someone like you commits a crime there.
Please spare us this garbage.

What a load of bull! It seems you only develop "racist tendencies" to Africans . . . developed racist tendencies to fellow malaysian criminals (who far outnumber the nigerians) or the whites who come to traffic your women as prostitutes here in the US?

Everyone is being racist . . . asians too are now making noise. grin Someone shld tell these wannabe whites that no one really cares a hoot.

mrs. malaysian
I am so sorry for all the nonsense those people did, those are the bad eggs amongst us, just don't look at it in terms of race, there are bad people of every ethnicity, we have our own bad eggs like you guys have yours so just simply look at them as criminals and not Nigerian criminals, also to be honest most Nigerians migrate to the US or Europe and definitely not Malaysia which means that you get mostly our bad eggs. So let's not demonize all the Nigerians that go there because some come as students while some come to eke out a living and end up doing criminal things.
Re: A Plea From A Malaysian To Nigerians by lacrimose(f): 9:25pm On Jun 03, 2008
i would advice that you move quickly far away from criminals like those, into a better neighbourhood. It does not make sense for u to generalise all nigerian people.

True, Most nigerians would usually not migrate to Malaysia, so it might be reminants of nigerians. Nigerians are good and hard working people. If uve convinced yourself otherwise, then u have  a problem. Well, we have asians in Nigeria too, and our people have learnt to accomodate your people, so u should try too.

You are right about the trafficking of women by white males. yet the retarded OP has nothing to say about that then again everyone knows most asians wish they were white anyway

He didn't specify his ethnicity but if he is an ethnic Malay,it will be absurdly laughable for him to be talking of "loafing around".

I don't know why people are wasting their time replying such a disjointed, unfounded, myopic and biased analysis about Nigeria.Who made her an immigration officer to go about collecting the data of all in her"ghetto"I m sure she is certainly is an illiterate thus call all "Black people" Nigerians.

That is because she is a useless bitch angry She posted the same thing in the travel section when a Nigerian opened a thread asking whether there are Nigerians in Malaysia. She posted the exact same thing there like she posted here and more.

I will say it again Malaysian. I cannot and will not be held responsible for other people's actions, not now nor ever! I do not live in your damn country. In the country I do live in, I am contributing my quota as a law abiding citizen. I told you already in the other thread that there are also malaysians here in America that commit crime. Why don't you come and caution them? You act like those rascist gays who try to say every black person is a criminal becaue of the deeds of a few. Call your law enforcement to deal with those Nigerians who are committing crimes in your country or do you need me to hop into the next plane to malaysia and caution the Nigerians there for you? That is not my job and I will NOT be held responsible for the actions of my fellow countrymen.

You can keep nagging about Nigerians in your country till you develop high blood pressure. You loose! Ask the malaysians here in America to stop committing crime as well or tell them to come back home. Whilst you at it, you and your parents, grand parents and great grand parents should voyage back to India since YOUR roots do NOT lie in malaysia. Dunce!! angry

Although this post is old I must reply, First crime is sad no matter who commits the crime wether you're Asain, Nigerian or otherwise which leads me to say this , I'am an African-American woman, there are a lot of Nigerian people who live in this country and they are some of the most pleasant and most professional people I've ever met , most of them hold doctorate degrees and work as doctors, professors, and dentists , they are very hard working and still practice their culture here in the US , I beleive your stating your bitterness based on the man you allowed to live with you and took things from you , the list just compiled as you became annoyed. All Nigerians are not like this or for that matter black people in general , It would not be fair if I said "All Malaysians allow their children to be sexually exploited by white men who travel to their country for a good time" I love all people not their actions, but love should cover a multitude of sins
Re: A Plea From A Malaysian To Nigerians by Anufemeki: 11:09am On Apr 04, 2022
Loads of horse shit coming from a 4th class citizen of Malaysia. Go back to India bcs Nigerians even live better than you Indians in Malaysia.

How can you be racist towards Nigerians when you are darker than tar ? Indians are the poorest in malaysia and they live in the rejected parts of any city in malaysia.

I studied in Malaysia and I can authoritatively say that Indians are not rated in Malaysia. Yes there are some Nigerians who misbehave but the real criminals in malaysia are Indians.
