thorpido: This scripture you quoted is from the quoran and they are the words of muhammed. You said Jesus had injeel and His words are not the one in the bible. How can you believe one is sent from God without his words?Does that not show a deep hollow in what you believe?
As Christians we believe the words of prophets before Jesus and we have their words as proof. How can Muhammed stand alone without the other prophets knowing or speaking of him?Apart from the quoran,he was not spoken of elsewhere?Isn't that strange for a prophet who claims to be the greatest?

where in the old testament is "Jesus" spoken of?

F00028:

Countless places.

But if we show you, you will say that portion is corrupted.

You first tell us which books or portions you believe in the old testament.

Abi are you like lilbakar who believes only John 16:7-15 out of the entire Bible?

1 million places.

For starters: Isaiah 53

Psalms 22.

Corrupted too abi?

The only part of the old testament that isn't corrupted is the part where Mohammed is spoken of...so show us that part.

for starters: this is disappointing

have you actually ever read Isaiah 53?

Isaiah 53 speaks of a man who was despised by mankind, had “no form nor comeliness”; who was wounded for our transgressions; who said not a word; and was buried with the wicked and the rich… etc

But…according to your bible Jesus had followers who loved him (to this day there are 1.5 billion of us muslims who love him not despise him);

-you claim Jesus was not merely wounded for our transgressions he was killed;

-Jesus did speak-he spoke to the jews, to pilate and on the cross; and

- he not was buried and even f you can call it that, he was alone!

Isaiah 53 also says God will prolong his life and he will live to even see his offspring:

Did the biblical Jesus have a wife (s) and kids?

Jesus, really?
- A wonderful counselor does not advise his
followers that if they have faith they can be
agents of destruction (Matthew 21:19-21;
Mark 11:14, 20-23).

- A mighty God does not take orders from anyone (Luke2:51, Hebrews 5:8 ), for no one is greater than he is (Matthew 12:31-32; John 5:30, 14:28).

- He does not ask or need to be save by anyone (Matthew 26:39, Luke 22:42), for he cannot die by any means (Matthew 27:50, Mark 15:37, Luke 23:46, John 19:30).

- He who is called the Son of God the Father (John 1:18, 3:16) cannot himself be called everlasting Father. One cannot play simultaneously the role of the son and the Father; it is an obvious self- contradiction.

-He who advocates family strife (Matthew 10:34-35, Luke 12:49-53) and killing enemies (Luke 19:27) cannot be called a ruler of peace.

It's obvious you just want to twist scriptures and give it your own meanings when those scriptures are plainly referring to Jesus.Stay with what Muhammad taught you if that satisfies you.The bible says all things shall be revealed at the end.

@F00028

You talk about someone encouraging his followers to be destructive...

...so just to congratulate you. Your brother in Egypt have destroyed more than 50 churches, christian homes and businesses...killed several Christians and molested and harassed poor nuns.

All without provocation.

Surely, it was Mohammed that sent them on that errand, not Jesus.

What heat are you talking about? You think u're making any point by twisting scriptures and creating d so called heat?Believe what you want.I'll leave you with the words of Jesus,'...I am set in My Father's throne'.Even the Koran says Jesus is the only one who has made heaven.I hope u will let Him lead you to where He is.He said, where I go,you(unbelievers) cannot come'.

then you have a problem here.
you better start looking at the bible more closely for the actual teachings of Jesus Chris himself and not the invented doctrines of other men. for your salvation depends upon it.

Details on St. Paul who is the real founder of “Christianity”

Paul who’s real name was Saul was born a Jew, and had adopted the
Roman203 way of life. He was an avowed enemy of Jesus (pbuh) and
his teachings. Some of the most significant facts as recorded by
Christian Scholars are below. Any person seeking the truth has to
compare the teachings of Jesus (pbuh) and that of Paul.

TEACHINGS OF JESUS (PBUH)
Jesus (pbuh) Practiced Sabbath on Saturday
MARK 7:7- Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for
doctrines the commandments of men.
Matt 15:9- But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the
commandments of men.
Matt 5: 17 Think not that I (Jesus (pbuh) ) am come to destroy the
law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Matt
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or
one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matt
5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least
commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least
in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them,
the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:20
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the
righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter
into the kingdom of heaven. Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto
me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that
doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven. Matt 7:22 Many will
say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy
name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done
203 The Roman believed in many gods and goddesses. Paul adopted their beliefs and introduced
the concept of 3 in 1.

many wonderful works? Matt 7:23 And then will I profess unto
them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matt 7:20. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
In any event, if there is any division between a Muslim and a
Christian on the grounds of dogma, belief, ethics or morality, then the
cause of such conflict could be traced to an utterance of Paul found in
his books of Corinthians, Philippians, Galatians, Thessalonians, etc., in
the Bible.

As against the teachings of the Jesus (pbuh) that salvation
only comes through keeping of the commandments (Mathew 19:16-17),
Paul nails the law and the commandments to the cross (Colossians
2:14) and claims that salvation can only be obtained through the death
and resurrection of Jesus (pbuh) Christ:- Refer to: 2 Timothy v. 8:
“Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from
the dead according to my (Paul’s) gospel”: This is indisputable proof
that Paul taught this false doctrine that the Church has been preaching
for centuries that has no evidence in the words of Jesus (pbuh).

"If Christ be not risen from the dead, then our preaching is vain, and
your faith is also vain." (1 Corinthians 15:14)
According to St. Paul, there is nothing that Christianity can offer
mankind, other than the blood and gore of Jesus (pbuh). If Jesus
(pbuh) did NOT die, and he was NOT resurrected from the dead, then
there can be NO salvation in Christianity!

NO CRUCI-FIXTION — NO CHRISTIANITY
"The death of Jesus on the cross is the centre of all Christian theology.
All Christian statements about god, about creation, about sin and
death have their focal point in the crucified Christ. All Christian
statements about history, about the church, about faith and
sanctification, about the future and about hope stem from the
crucified Christ" Professor Jurgen Moltmann in his — "The Crucified
God".

Vatican Church follows Paul’s teachings
Paul Changed Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday
(1) Paul was not chosen as one of the disciples of Jesus (pbuh).
(2) Paul introduced the concept of ‘son of God’. (Refer Acts 9, v. 20)
whereas the foundation of belief of Jesus and Moses and all the
Prophets is the belief in ONE GOD.
Paul contradicts all the fundamental teachings of Jesus (pbuh).
Gal 2:15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law,
but by the faith of Jesus (pbuh) Christ, even we have believed in
Jesus (pbuh) Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of
Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law
shall no flesh be justified.
Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of
works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith
without the deeds of the law.
1 Cor 10:24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s
wealth204. 1 Cor 10:25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat,
asking no question for conscience sake –

Note: The words spoken by Jesus (pbuh) regarding the observation of
the LAW OF MOSES is destroyed by Paul in its entirety. Jesus (pbuh)
observed the Law as is recorded in many places of the Bible.
Paul encourages people to steal others wealth in 1st Cor 10:24 when the
Commandants prohibit such acts.
Refer to more lies spoken by Paul in Acts 23:6, Acts 25:10-12, 2 Corinthians 11:6
and 11:8

The ‘crucifiction’ that was preached by Paul in I Corinthians has been
proved false by the arguments and proofs from the Bible itself in
Question number 54; so the belief of Christianity has been shattered as
far as the myth of crucifixion and atonement of sins is concerned. So
in reality there is no Christianity, as Jesus (pbuh) never preached
Christianity, but rather the Law of Moses (pbuh) that Jesus (pbuh)
adhered to.
John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments”
The one sin Allah will not forgive is that of associating partners with
Him as mentioned in Al-Qur’aan chap 4 v 48:
“Lo! Allah does not forgive that a partner should be ascribed to
Him. He forgives (all) except that to whom He will. Whoso ascribes
partners to Allah, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin.”
Glorious Qur’aan 3:8 “Our Rabb! Cause not our hearts to stray after
Thou has guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Thy presence.
Lo! Thou, only art the Bestower”.

I'd advise all Christians to stop getting into debates with this type of Muslims. Its completely unnecessary. When they ask these question its obvious its as a result of their insecurity in their faith. They search the bible to find faults and refer to same book as pointing to Mohammed. Muslims are being paid to read the bible and find fault so as to further propagate their propaganda. If you are very sure of what you believe(Mohammed and Quran)then leave other books...How many times have you heard Christians quote the Quran to validate the person of Jesus Christ?? The bible have said all that we need to know about everything! We are so certain about it...No need to start reading quran or any other book to be sure of what we believe. Sometimes i laugh when i read a muslim's interpretation of the scriptures...you would see a lot of desperation to prove a point.

When a muslim reads the bible, its like someone reading a letter that wasnt addressed to him....hes bound to miss-interpret it!

The part fellow Christians needs to know is that God deliberately inspired the scriptures in that way so it can further confuse those that wants to criticize....

Read 1 Cor chapter 1.

This Muslims knows too much...makes me laugh out loud!

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

^^^so true. They need the bible to validate their religion. They twist bible scriptures in a desperate attempt to give credence to Islam.
Isn't it amazing that a prophet who claims to be the greatest prophet was never spoken of by any of the prophets who came before Jesus or even Jesus Himself? How come they never had revelations of him?He alone spoke of himself.

His question doesn't demand any form of bashing, he has asked a simple question in a less offensive way. These are printed words of the bible. @op d latter is what I av an answer to, hating ur father and mother does nt literally mean showing hate towards them but simply emphasizing loving God above them i.e letting God take the first place in our hearts and our parents shouldn't be a deterrent to pleasing God

..........and also that if our parents are not believers (e.g. idol worshippers) we must not join them. This naturally will cause a division in the family. some of our siblings may join them and some may not join. That is division. This however does not mean that you should not give them their dues e.g. money for food e.t.c.
