The schools the OP quoted are secondary schools , not universities.
There are a couple of schools in abeokuta that charges within that range. Daywaterman college charges N4million, while nobelhouse college fees is N1,2 million.
It must be noted that these schools operate the british curriculum.

I attended Federal Science and Technical College, yaba, Lagos and presently, in the university I'm with a nice G.p in my department. So my dear friend, It's not all about the cost, though money plays a major role I.e comfort, quality textbooks, practicals e.t.c but also our personal effort and determination can help in shaping our future.

If you can'T afford it, you don't comment. Last time I checked, people want good value for their investments. You got your own beliefs, they got theirs at they can very well afford it.
Exorbitant tuition fees is independent of a kid's attitude to learning but some think differently. They love their kids that they sacrifice this much to get the best out of them

I went to schools with Osoba's,,Olagunsoye Oyinlola's, and Agagu's kids...

And the school fees were nowhere near the extortionate amounts up there...
