For the record

Saudi's only have the M1A2 which lack the DU layer of armor

They have some M1A2SEP's (with DU) but based on the images coming out of Yemen, they arent deployed

And, FYI, the Saudi's have lost 3 Abrams, 2 destroyed and 1 captured.

But I guess, either way, if you deploy armor without infantry support, they are gunna get destroyed. Even the SEP wont stop a hit to the engine compartment from penetrating and knocking out the vehicle.

Arab's dont cover themselves in glory when it comes to combined arms warfare

most of this gulf countries citizens are catered for from cradle to grave,then it would be impossible for them to risk their lives.thats saudi wanted pakistan to join the coalition,Pakistani military other role after defending pakistan is to be soldiers for hire for gulf countries.why do you think sudan and egypt are in this coalition !they just want financial benefits

IED!

Although not widely reported, the conflict in N.E Nigeria is one of the world's worst IED affected conflicts. With terrorists planting IEDs and Mines along in the Sambisa forest area, and along local governments close to the borders with Chad, Cameroun and Niger.

Allowing your Military to be trained by Americans is an almost definite guarantee that they will be a horrible failure.
Buying expensive and the latest equipment is no replacement for good training.

Saudis would never survive against an African Country with a Significant Army, even Chad would send them back home with their tails between their legs.

The Houthi/Saleh coalition in Yemen has (or had) access to MiGs and the pilots to fly them

Air defence against what?
The photographed air defence system is designed to protect forces, resources and installations against low flying aircraft, cruise missiles, UAVs etc

The houthies are unknown to posses and have used tactical ballistic missiles I suspect that system was deployed to counter this and other rocket threats.

Also remember the rebels might be commanded and offered tactical advice by the Iranians, meaning the tactical ballistic missiles might be more accurate in hitting and failing near targets.

they trained our recce squad CQB,When ever criminals or terrorists they have barracked themselves are called to clear house and i can tell you from countless incidents e.g garrissa university terror attack which after landing in garissa eliminate all terrorist in 15 minutes they are exceptional.i dont thing there is anyone who change those gulf countries armies to be professional soldiers .UAE hired so many colombia soldiers paying them 8,000 dollars a month because of fear of an iranian invasion ,it reached a point Colombia military was alarmed with the rate it was loosing most of its skilled soldiers.when UAE bought its F-16's it couldn't find pilots fly them because most male UAE citizens didn't want to join the military

Nah dude look at the 50+ man tactical team of Iraqi Soldiers who were trained in the U.S they were suppose to be the best thing ever and they were torn apart on their first mission.

The American style of fighting and training rarely works for other people.

When you allow Americans to help you build up an entire unit or battalion from the ground up it tends to be disastrous.
