Anybody following the current conflict in GAZA? It isn't a pleasant sight at all. I'm following the conflict on Aljazeera. True, Aljazeera is pro-Arab ( anyway all news stations report the news with different political interests ), but the sights are quite disturbing.

The JF-17 thunder is a beautiful fighter, with a good price. We've been rumoured as potential buyers on many occasions but nothing concrete at the moment.

We have the Roland ADS (although an obsolete system), and many modern AAA in service. The indians are also helping us modernise our AD structure,a and we could possibly have received AD batteries from them since we have completed TRACON.

Algeria has a defence budget of 10 billion usd, so they can afford the S-300 MDS.

You know how neighbouring countries are always trying to outshine each other?
Same case in east-africa(EastAfrica as in Kenya,Uganda,Tanzania, rwanda and to some extent S.Sudan).
Militarily, Uganda has always had an ambition of bieng some sort of military leader of the region, from the time of Idi Amin to
current M7 and they have never been shy to to get thire hands dirty(militarily).
