I am writing my thesis on the effects of Nigerian home videos. What do you think are the effects of over exposure on viewers of home videos about issues such as friendships, matrimony, religion, culture, etc?

Does the way these variables are treated in movies affect the way viewers see, relate and approach them in life?

Home videos or foreign videos they've all got effects
it makes u unable to think straight
it doesnt give u time for any other thing
and some other reasons
i think if the effects of watching videos is death then i wud have been dead a long time ago

the number one effect of watching too much Nigerian home videos is that it reduces your IQ.

Excessive watching of home videos makes home video fans start thinking even more dully than before.

They start believing every of their problems can be solved by calling on the name of God. Including acne.
They start getting suspicious of people.
The start scheming and strategising in relationships for no apparent reason.
Those that would previously not consider visiting spiritualists now see it as a clear option.
They start to suspect their spouses for no good reason and begin to tail them and track them around town.
They start "testing" their spouses.
They get jealous and suspicious of their inlaws and step-siblings.
They lose touch of reality.
They begin to appreciate mediocre forms of art as excellent.
They generally get less intelligent than pre-home video.

Lest I forget, watching excess home videos damages your DVD Player lens.
