All android users is suffering from data usage due to the blockage of blackberry. net.3g and 7.5g cheats.
Here is tutorial on how you can manage data and your battery too. For instance I use 10mb for 3days.
1) Go to settings and locate developer options. tap on background limit and uncheck the standard limit. you can change it to no process or any of ur choice cos did will minimize ba3 usage.
2) Go to data usage and activate mobile data limit scroll up and check in restri.
ct background limit on the apps you think it drain ur data e.g Google play
store, Google play services e.t.c.
3) Use lightweight browser such as opera mini. using chrome or ucweb will drain ur data quickly.
This will minimize your data usage to the core.
NB: this work on android 4.0 above
