He was already a senior officer at the time this picture was taken (judging from the 'black neck' and the 'coated eagle'). That rank seems like the equivalent of today's Assistant Comptroller of Customs. I thought I'd see a picture of a truly 'young' officer Atiku. Anyways, he was already a millionaire by then no doubt, but little did he know that he will go on to become Turaki Adamawa. . . one of the richest and most powerful Nigerians in the future.
