The only dialect I can speak perfectly is Aro. Aside from that I can speak and understand Izugbe (although I sometimes subconciously mix it with Aro) and can attempt to speak most well-known dialects.

what happened? U should have been perfect in ur own dialect. People who live in cities do not speak any particular dialect, they mix up every thing. U can only hear undiluted dialects in remote areas.

Please friends, can some one tell us the kind and origin of this igbo chinenyeN use to write here. I have met so many ngwa people and what they speak is nowhere nearer to what that dude use to write here. Can an igbo man translate that guy's signature.

Nzuko: Sounds izugbe ("standardised" igbo to me. I believe say e get people wey e be their dialect (probably Anambra area too)

Ntaa: Agbaja (Waawa)

I can understand everyother igbo dialect to different extents.

What I write is Ngwa, and just because you are unable to read it does not magically make it out to be something else.

As for the topic, I speak Ngwa primarily, but also some Asa, Ndoki, some Etche and Ikwere (I understand this cluster pretty well). I can mostly understand some of the Umuahia lects, and the Onitsha and Abo ni Ndoni and Izugbe are pretty easy. Here is an audio recording of me speaking Ngwa, it is also my signature for any party interested in taking Antivirus up on his offer to translate.
