This happened yesterday in onitsha at upper new market road onitsha. Were a new born baby was abandoned and trown into the gutter by God knows who. By the time people saw the child.he was already dead. God help us.

I don tire to talk. It's a rotten system. Rather than people preaching the impossible (abstinence) they should get real and teach proper contraceptives and if need be, legalize abortion. (I'm not for the abortion thingy as I value life too much, but that doesn't mean it should be ruled out.)

Additionally, general perceptions / attitudes regarding adoption should be overhauled. There is absolutely NO SHAME in adopting a child. This poor little mite would have been better off with adoptive parents that would have loved him, rather than being abandoned in a dirty market square.

It is sad really. Just sad...
