Nice one boss I bet the car is enjoying your government better than the previous user cos you're really pampering it.

I hope so too sir. Time, desire and finance have not really aligned to allow me do all I would wish to do. I was looking up various custom colours applicable to BMW online and Sepang Bronze was thrown up.

shocked shocked shocked

More Sepang Bronze
I prefer the darker one on the E60 in previous post. Or is it the lighting effect?

I have seen those Bronze on some 2013 E class and they look wicked I was wondering what they would look like on the Benz w203 C class.

A fellow Ci with an LSD-7 plate number. Quite fancy some items from the eBay seller you linked but the cost, oof!

Doesn't have to be that seller. Just type in your required item eg "E46 wipers" into the ebay search box and sort by price, location etc.
Some great deals abound especially for auction items. I don't have the heart for auctions tho'.
I prefer to deal with sellers with high sales volume and ratings though.

Yes I know that colour. Searched for Bronze W203 but found nothing.
Maybe not ideal? You could be the first? wink wink

Installed the four shock absorbers today. I must tell you, the ride is completely DIFFERENT!
Took it to my mechanic's place in Oregun for the job.

The rears are incredibly easy to dismantle and reinstall. Both took all of 20 minutes total!

The front? That's another story....... tongue

Pictures to follow when I get to the computer shortly.

Used the oppprtunity to get rid of the annoying brake pad wear sensor light on the dash even though pads were new. Replaced the front sensor which was the culprit.

Rear shock removal and prepping the new one(s)

Comparing the pressure required to depress old vs new.
Old was much easier to depress and slower to rebound

Also note assembly point inside the boot

I might not be the best to answer your question so I have posted a link to your question on the BMW owners forum. Someone will surely help.

@ Shagati so whats next, also whats the size of your engine, and what state do you live in? finally do you feel the difference in the change of shocks?

Will take each day as it comes. Next major upgrade may be a paint job. This would have been very relevant if it had remained a weekend cruiser but as it is, the car has become a daily driver due to a reconfiguration of the 'fleet' wink

Engine is a 2.5L inline-6
Lagos, Nigeria

Regarding differences;
1. I suspect I may have gained a few millimeters in ground clearance(?). I don't scrape anymore in places where I normally used to. (Speed breakers, deep potholes etc)
2. Car no longer does a nose dive on hard braking
3. Vehicle stays flatter with less body roll on aggressive cornering.
4. Traffic light launches are more purposeful as the rear dips much less than it used to
5. Of course, going over rough patches now presents a dull thud rather than the previous clang/smash/bang/chink/crash! grin

Brand new Siemens Air flow meter for the X3, E46 330i or 330ci. $300 part. Bought 5 personally from a dealer in Manhattan Beach, CA, not that useless N8,000 useless product sold at Ladipo and Olowu in Ikeja. Will give (as in DASH) to the nairalander with the best looking E46. Yet to see one that looks as good as mine before I sold it though. I'll post a pic to refresh your memory
