Sir, you did not mention acrydext and hydrosol. I guess acrydext is an acrylic binder which can be used in place of PVA.

Someone also noted that Formalin preserves paint not longer than one month before it weakens and runs oily or watery. What chemical can be used in place of formalin ?( Important for sellers who don't use the paint immediately) . He suggested Megral..

Acryldext is too costly about N4,600 per 20litre bucket. I will like to know how much you buy P.V.A.

I dont know those brand names you mentioned but i suspect they are brands of thickener. knowing Their chemical composition may help though.

How(Quantity) is that PVA applied to prevent chalking of emulsion paint within one or two years ? Assuming we are mixing for one drum(20 Litres) of paint ?

What I mean by chalking are those paints you touch and they rub off on ones hands as they age.

well i cant disclose that.
topbond is a pva easily susceptible to water degradation.
perhaps it may work for interior paint.

@ OP, thanks for d info, pls sir for emulsion paint in which u gave us free info, pls after mixxing everything just as u explained, are u saying in d area of colour i can get any colour i want be adding e.g blue to d mix to get blue emulsion paint. Pls do u ve ebook on d paints(textured, satin emulsion, egg shell, matte emulsion, flex cote, gloss, road marking paint and so on). Thanks
