It depends on the growth pattern of some guys facial hair actually...
My side burns grow pretty awkwardly so I just sport the goatee and moustache and shave off the sideburns, the Ladies love it that way.
But on the other hand I have a frend who's got the Ramsey Nouah kinda beard going on- basically the full side burns connection effex, moreover the texture is quite soft and the ladies Looooove it.
So it depends.
