Op, it is obvious that you were DOUBTING the existence of heaven and hell. Therefore, you tried your best to find evidences that discredit their existence without even finding much evidence that credit their existence--ignorance.

In a nut shell....yea heaven is real it is Gods place of dwelling...and only a limited number of people will have the oppurtunity to go up there to rule wit christ [exactly 144,000, revelation 14:1]...and who will they rule over??
They are going to rule over the other multitudes of humans who survived tru after God has cleared the wicked from de earth.

As for hellfire its not a bible teaching..wen adam rebelld against god..God simply said from de dust u were taken and dere u will return, he never mentioned hellfire...similarly wicked pple today will simply be cut off and once they die they hv paid for their sin and have no hope of a ressurection [psalms 37:9,10]. Our God is love he can never throw pple into a fire to be tormented forever..thats brutal and unlike him.
Serve God cuz u love him and not becuz u fear to be thrown into sme sort of fire!!

What I understand but hell and heaven is very simple nd clear the bible make clear of selected bible going to heaven which are the hundred and fifty four thousand who are to rule as kings and prince in heaven rev 14 vs 1-3 while the bible mention the great crowd who come out of the great tribulations rev 7 vs 9. Those would reside on earth. The bible mention a thousands a year reign of christ on earth if every body is going to heaven then who would create rule on earth for a thousand year reign.

As for hell it's also mean sheol hades which mean grave try and do research if jesus when to hell when he died does its means he is a sinner pls check your bible very well there is no record of hell fire instead sulphur of Lake of fire like Sodom and gomorrah which was destroy with brimstone and fire

Before you start quoting scriptures and using several translations, atleast you will read in context.
Do you start talking by using the word "therefore"? Read the verse before and then the ones after the verse you are talking about. Then you will see your own ERROR!
Verse 13 of the sample Chapter says this (AMP)
" [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight."

Am using the same translation you used. Please, did you see that: NOT IN YOUR OWN STRENGTH? I don't think there is a need to debate that! Please, it is God that WORKS in US, not we ourselves!
And if I may add, the OP didn't say he doesn't believe in HEAVEN and HELL, he simply said he doesn't need any man's testimonies to believe God's word. What can man's testimony tell, that God's word is not EXPLICIT about?

Please, how did the OP "try" to discredit the story of heaven and hell as recorded in God's word? Please, stop reading with your coloured reading glasses of religion. The OP's intention is so clear. You don't need someone testimonies to believe God's word. Heaven and hell is real, but God would not send someone from the DEAD to tell you that. That was what Abraham told the rich man in that story, and that is God's word, which is final.

And if I may add this, can you WORK out your own salvation? YOU?? without GOD?? You simply can't. Religion might say so, but God's word says a verse after where you quoted that "..for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure..."
