Talking of effectiveness, services offered, speed, flexibility, appearance, layout and other factors. No doubt, they are both good but which one do you prefer?

GMail all the way.. Yahoo is way too slow, upload na wahala, download sef na gengen, if you dont have fast broadband, your own don finish be dat.. Also I love the Compose Mail style that gmail employs, makes you feel like u are chatting, there was a day I was trying to send a document, I was so busy typing the accompanying message that I forgot to attach the file, but gmail told me to attach it because i had started the message with 'Please find attached'... About the Layout.. I dont care...

Its quite easy, infact now that you mentioned, that one more thing it has over yahoo, you can add as much as ten files (sum < 25mb) in one operation instead of the merry-go-round approach of Yahoo... infact if I had to choose another mail provider after gmail, it wont be yahoo..

I have 2 android phones, the first one I bought almost 3 years ago, yet I have never used gmail for anything, aside from downloading applications for the phones

Talking of services Yahoo is the best and talking of quality and popularity yahoo has it.. Talking Of Customization gmail is the best for mobile/pc.. But actually i kinda prefer gmail beta dan yahoo this days.. if you think wat i tink LIKE THIS.

When signing in, Yahoo loads faster than Gmail. When uploading documents, Gmail is faster than Yahoo.

Simplicity is the key and that is what has won Gmail a lot of new users. The theatrics of Yahoo is woo much.

I prefer GMAIL when am on mobile phone coz it is easier to access and fast but Yahoo Mail when on computer. But i find it difficult most times to attach on mobile GMAIL except i use the GMAIL app. Also, Yahoo Mail do need a lotta verification to access both on her mobile and desktop versions.


By the way, i know topics like this won't generate much traffic when it is not about Tonto Dikeh, My Oga @ the top or GEJ... SMH
