Pls how can download whatsapp on Nokia Asha 301? I was told it does not support the app.

Try downloading it from nokia play store and it will update it automatically.

Required:
A nokia Dual SIM phone (also works on any nokia phone)
An Internet connection (you already have this anyway)

Before you begin, visit http://store.ovi.com/content/172049 or http://store.ovi.com/content/62616 on your browser to see if you can download it directly. If it fails, proceed to the next steps.

1. Download Whatsapp Zip package from the link in the post (http://echo.com.ng/2013/howto-download-whatsapp-dual-sim-nokia-phones/)
2. Unzip it into your computer and transfer the contents (WhatsApp.jar and Whatsapp.jad) to your phone using a USB cable.
3. Move the app into your the folder called “My Apps“. Be aware though, that this is not the supported version for your phone. We would need to upgrade it
4. DO NOT OPEN IT YET!
5. Navigate to the “My Apps” folder and on WhatsApp, select the option key and choose “Update Version”. Allow the application to update. Don’t forget to replace the existing version, and to clear existing user data.
6. Now run the application and fill in your personal details
7. Mission accomplished

The computer only comes in in step 2. You could (if your phone has an option to unzip the files it has) do that step with your phone as well

does Asha 202 have the unzip option

You may have to download another application called BlueFTP.jar (or any zip application compatible with your phone). Google is your friend
