Embrace Reconciliation, Peace- Eze Nri Tells Al Mustapha MAJOR Hamza Mustapha, former Chief of Security Officer of late Head of State Gen. Sani Abacha has pledged to embrace forgiveness and reconciliation to achieve peace and build bridges across divides in the country. Mustapha made the pledge Thursday in Nri, Anambra State at the palace of the ancient community’s monarch, Obidiegwu Onyesoh, Eze Nri Ewelana II. The pledge followed a plea by the monarch to militants and activists to embrace forgiveness and reconciliation despite their experiences. Mustapha, who was guest of Chief Ralph Uwazurike, leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), was driven in a long convoy from the Sam Mbakwe Airport Owerri to Nri. In his company were Chief Ralph Uwazurike, leader of the MASSOB, Founder of Odua People’s Congress (OPC) Frederick Fasehun; the leader of Niger Delta Volunteer Force (NDVF), Alhaji Asari Dokubo; President of Arewa Youths Congress, Alhaji Shettima Yerima; Alhaji Mohammed Abacha, eldest son of the late Head of State and other members of his entourage. Mustapha, who also visited the Rehabilitation Centre for ex-service men of the defunct Biafran Army, the MASSOB headquarters in Okwe, Imo State and the Chairman of South East traditional rulers council His Royal Highness Cletus Ilomuanya, told Onyesoh that his “choice of Nri, the custodian of Igbo culture was deliberate in the journey of forgiveness. We are aware of the culture of peace associated with this place.” Earlier, the monarch, who blessed the activists, called on Fasehun and Dokubo to emulate Uwazurike and embrace non- violence.

Have you seen how GEJ's boys are not complaining and insulting these people since they are working for the Presidency. Hypocrisy at its best. Tomorrow if they say something contrary, come and see names and adjectives |
