Msc is 3 semesters except if you perhaps have carry over or any other delay. First two semesters for course work and the third for project. That is a year and half.

What assistance are you willing to offer? I just need directions on what to do, as I am capable of writing my own project. I find it fulfilling.

So what assistance and how much will it cost me?

No instalment payments. However, you can pay for the number of courses you can afford. For instance, if you are to do 9 courses but you only have money for 4, you can pay for the 4 and write the exams of the 4. You will do the other 5 when you have the money.

As any student of faculty of management science collected his or her certificate today as scheduled? I want to know before I go to the study centre.
Again, I do not know when the refund of the N5,000 we paid during convocation would be made.

Good Day, Nounites

I hope you all notice NOUN system of setting e-exam question is varying greatly?

That has called for prominent reason(s) to prepare a concise and self-aided PAST QUESTION in portable document file (PDF) which will serve and aid your understanding of the course materials.

It is worth mentioning, that most of NOUN course materials we were handed at the centre are not elementarily simplified to every student taste (am not downgrading the materials though). More so, as there is no Area of Concentration (AOC) except for the TMA: this is an opportunity to bridge the gaps in your result (CGPA)

Now, let me ask you simple questions.

A. Have you ever defined your purpose in NOUN?

B. Do you think it is worthy graduating with a mere "PASS" after 4-years of sweats and night-dawn readings?

If you ever dream or hope your CERTIFICATE is going to take you somewhere in life, then this PAST QUESTIONS are definitely cooked for you.

I therefore urge everyone willing to excel in their studies to make use of these PAST QUESTIONS in building solid foundations and courage required in tackling the seemingly difficult topics and exam.

Conversely, terms and topics in these PAST QUESTIONS are well broken-down to a layman's understanding to the extent that you need not support of a tutor.

"Academic excellence is overrated! Did I just say that? Oh, yes, I said it.

Being top of your class does not necessarily guarantee that you will be at the top of life. You could graduate as the best student in Finance but it doesn't mean you will make more money than everybody else.

The best graduating Law student does not necessarily become the best lawyer. The fact is life requires more than the ability to understand a concept, memorise it and reproduce it in an exam.

School rewards people for their memory. Life rewards people for their imagination. School rewards caution, life rewards daring. School hails those who live by the rules. Life exalts those who break the rules and set new ones.

So do I mean people shouldn't study hard in school? Oh, no, you should. But don't sacrifice every other thing on the altar of First Class.

Don't limit yourself to the classroom.
Do something practical.
Take a leadership position.
Start a business and fail. That's a better Entrepreneurship
Join or start a club.
Contest an election and lose. It will teach something Political Science will not teach you.
Attend a seminar. Read books outside the scope of your course... Do something you believe in!

Think less of becoming an excellent student but think more of becoming an excellent person. Make the world your classroom!"
