seconded, @ donchuky, I recalled my previous car a carina II it developed a single crack on the windscreen from the top, I used repair kits many times but it did nothing to stop the crack running to the bottom of the windscreen which later branched from the bottom to the top again forming a "V" shape.

Pls don't just bother repairing the screen with a crack repair kit it won't work because of
1.poor expansion and contraction of glass due to high temperature and low temperature respectively,
2.high pressure mass air flow hitting the windscreen when driving,
3. vibrations (both high frequency and low frequency) would not allow the screen repair kit to do a good job.
Besides, it wouldn't look too nice to have a car like yours with a cracked screen.

Rather than buying a new chinese replacement, head to your nearest second hand car part joint, and buy an original free of crack or blemish second hand !!!!

It can be treated to stop spreading, the crack. Had it been you are in Abuja, i would have given you a specialist phone number who stays at Area 10.

But if the crack is much, then you will need to replace it since VIO or Road Safety won't smile at you anytime they stop you and see it.

here in UK they dont treat cracks put a chip

once a crack is there it is hard to treat

sorry am in UK i know nothing about those code

normally here the Screen is changed by the insurance (through and agent ) if it is part your insurance package
, if you dont have it as part of insurance, we always advise people to get it from the scrap yard, then just look for someone to fit it for you

i suggest you do the same get it from accident damaged cars
