The greatest mover in early times of Christianity was Paul. There's no question in anybody's mind that he was real person. One could give him credit is being the primary salesperson of Christianity at that time.
In your opinions how would Christianity have developed without Paul's efforts and writings

So the question becomes, would Christianity be any different, either by faith or by dogma, if Paul had not been written
how Christianity would look like without Paul

Hi Tobe,

There is this popular misconception that Paul founded Christianity basically because of the level of effort he put in to ensure that the word of God reaches the ends of the Earth. I do not share this sentiment.

Christianity was already in existence before the advent of Paul and if there had been no Paul God would have used someone else. It's really as simple as that. Recall the case of the invite Christ extended to the rich man. Christ asked him to leave all he had and follow him but the dude refused. This did not stop or change the message of Christ.

God chooses people to carry on his message but he is not stuck with using those specific people. Irrespective of the person used, the substance of God's message would remain the same. So if not Paul, there definitely will be someone else.

The only difference I think that might have occurred would be the writing style. We know that Paul's style of writing is not what one would consider 'very direct' as his writings are prone to misinterpretation. Probably if it had been someone else, the same message would have been passed across but maybe in an easy to understand manner.
