uchetobi: I'm married, the unmarried ones are envying me
I have kids, the ones without are envying me
I had normal delivery the ones that had cs are envying me

God really need to deliver a lot of Nigerian women from these mentality!

Life is not a competition and believe it or not some people's life do not revolve around answering 'Mrs'

Neither is it a competition of whose children got into sec school first or got married first! Jeez

Its not a race or 'first/ winner takes all'

I was at the gym in 2009 and two women got into a fight and the next thing we heard was 'that's why you are not married' shuooooo! Marriage don turn badge..the other woman she was abusing was even married, she just doesnt wear her ring to exercise

Coming from someone happily married for almost two years and still in a honeymoon phase self! Breathe in and out...your unmarried friends are not coveting your life....even the bible says it in ecclesiastics..there is time and a season for everything.

The fact that their time hasn't come yet doesn't mean they envy u or covet ur life or that you are even better than them

Just exactly what I wanted to type.

It is not easy. you have to be very strong if you want to marry as an undergraduate.I got married in 100L my husband is in another state and I gave birth in 200L and pregnant for second baby in final year. it is not easy at all when my mate will be going for night and extra class I will always run home to my baby.no time for myself at all, while eating am reading, while breast feeding am reading, cooking am reading.I alway av the feeling that am lacking behind but during examination and after I do come out fine.I made second class upper in Economics.you will av to sacrifice alot

Wow! In as much as I can say you in for a tough time but nothing stops you from starting early. Finishisng early allows you enough room to enjoy your old age at the early stages when your bones can still take it!

Family ection wedo ooooo!!!

The miss Nairaland contest is ongoing still. We want to treach our kids originality and poise and contentment and how to be gracious in thier own skins. Right?

How about voting for naturlity and grace?
Vivly it is.
Jennima it is!
