Utter rubbish! Their deaths would have been avoided in the first place. How many more should be sacrificed to this death trap called NYSC before it is finally scrapped?
I am glad they know that money cannot replace a life. This is proof that the govt does not place the protection of lives as one of their priorities since they have refused to discontinue the failed program. Afterall they could just grant monetary compensations to the families of the deceased (a tactical and poor show of concern), express a few words of condolences between yawns and quick glances at their time pieces, dismiss in a hurry with relief written all over their hasty departure but the heart of the problem, NYSC, is never addressed. They deceive themselves with their pathetic show of concern
RIP to our fallen comrades. May they find eternal peace in their resting place.

In as much the gesture is commendable,we should not be oblivous of the fact that re~occurence is inevitable, except the government is serious about the security of defenceless citizens. The north has been 'wild' since I was growing up,when it comes to religious crisis(Now politics). However,no thanks to the unreasonable incitement that led to the slain corpers by ONE MAN. Continue RIP

some people wl never see anything good in whatever govt do despite the fact that the said money could ve been lodged in some of the nysc officials fixed deposit ac for the past 2yrs to yield their own interest in the name of beaurocratic bottle neck,at least it will relief the family of the dead corpers to some level.

though the govt can be thanked for the kind gesture the loss suffered by the concerned parents continues to be irreplaceable. It is violent people spilling the blood of the innocent that God should rise and root out from surface of the earth. The people who do not believe that live is sacred and that God placed much importance to it. May God save the nation from those agents of the devil, people that take lives of others on evil mission and for wicked intention.

I want to believe that the most sensible thing NYSC and the FG should be gearing themselves up to fulfill is that such a catastrophe never happen again in this country. R.I.P brothers.
