@ ENYI2, B4 thinking about joining GTB hope you are a tunde, tayo, segun or wale and not an Emeka, Ikechukwu or Uchenna. Wont go any further.

I hope I am misunderstanding you. I hope you are not saying that they play the ethnic card in GTB. in my opinion, ethnic card is "useable" when (1) they are looking for people to do menial jobs or positions where candidates' skills do not make any difference, (2) People are already high up and the powerful such that advancement is now about board room politics.

However, in between those 2 stages, no serious company will leave out candidates with exceptional, marketable skills that can give competitive advantage to the company and choose Dayo or Seyi over them just because of ethnicity.

I nor sabi anything sha o. I've not been there.

Pls, fellow nairalanders, I'm a staff of the bank, and the salary is not up to that o. though it's a nice place for starters, u'll gain a lot thru learning and responsibilities. I'm less than one year old with the bank but I bet u, sky's d limit.
