fagbalex: Whao!!!!!! i can't believe it. he's my lecturer while in school. he though me econometrics and micro economics while in school. the man is so humble, God fearing, and he's always dedicative in all his total endeavour most especially in services to the people. i believe the man has all what it take to be the next governor of anambra state. with the spate of things in the state and the weakness of his party, he has a very little hope of reaching the highest position in the state, but i believe its starting point and a medium to create awareness. wishing my dear prof. best of luck. we from nasarawa state university love you but God love you most. ma salam

Be Blessed for saying the truth as you know it.. We need good people in leadership and it behooves on us all to entrench that in any way we can for the betterment of our society. His party is not weak.. UPP was founded by the same founder of APGA ( chief chekwas Okorie) . Look out from the second week of October to be sure about the strength of his party, though a one year old party.. You are going to be amazed at what is going to play out in the next few weeks.. But if you think Prof. is good enough to govern anambra state, you can join in campaigning for him in your own little way as many are now doing even before he flags off campaign in couple of weeks to come... Salvage awaits our country in the earnest.. Up Prof. Benedict Ndubuisi Akanegbu, the most outstanding in the anambra guber race...

Thank you so much. I am also not from Anambra state,but i spend time to market him to people because i see him as the very best among all the candidates. We have many ways of receiving reward from God for doing a just work. You cant believe that your Prof. havent met me and doesnt even know i do this for him, so that is why i consider it a just work, though i have a personal relationship with the founder of his party. I fell for your prof. after reading his credentials as i became convinced that we need people like him in leadership. I got to understand he will flag off campaigns by mid Oct. and i intend to join his campaign if not for anything but to be sure i contributed in giving the people the best.. You are highly welcome in this pursuit of marketing your prof. to the people.. I am sure you will see for your self when things start properly and be sure to do what you can to let people around you to know that your prof. is the best among the jostlers of that seat. You didn't say what he has done specifically for Anambra people (or his community) for them to troop out and vote for him.

Politics is a game for politicians, even Obama, Bill Clinton or George Bush (Snr & Jr) didn't have tall academic profiles or intimidating cvs.

I'm from Anambra, I'm undecided about who is worthy of my vote but I know several who aren't. (Andy; Nwoye; Nicholas; Ifeanyi; Nwabueze etc)

so what did Peter obi do for his community before being governor. As a Economist, I think this is the only viable replacement we have for Soludo. I think the state needs a good restructuring and planning. And the man is well exposed. You got to admit he has a better record and qualification than all those touts, stooges and thugs contesting.His cV says he specialized in International Trade, Finance and Economic Development. very impressive! He just needs to play the politics involved and well. Remember Peter Obi was barely a politician when he contested.

alex101: I may not be from Anambra, but the message to Ndigbo in general is to start electing leaders that has a substantial "footing" in Igboland. By footing, I mean somebody who must have spent a considerable time in Igboland and must have atleast 80% of their worth in Igboland. If anybody vying for office in Igboland does not meet this criteria, then he/she should not be voted for, regardless of whatever resume they may brandish.

Here is a man that claim to have lectured over two decades and all the so called universities he taught in were all outside of Igboland . I guess the only time he remembered his father's land is when to run for office? Imagine where this man will take his looted Anambra funds to? Lets say he decides to loot/steal like they all do,,,,,,his mansions will be sited in Abuja and Lagos,,,,then whenever Igbo are maltreated in the north or SW, he cannot talk for the fear of loosing his property,,,,See Orji Uzor Kalu in Lagos.

I will advise Ndigbo to keep using their "tongue in counting their teeth".
