Well, they are slower than your normal V6 sedans ans suvs, but then they aren't snails. By the way, Highlander weighs less than 2 tons. Mine weighs about 1.7tons which is very light for such a vehicle and its 0-60mph sprints is about 9.6 seconds. Yet I couldn't stand my infiniti QX4 which weight about 2.5tons and does 8.6 seconds.
By the way who ever said L4 highlanders don't consume fuel is misguided. It does 18mpg city and rx330 does 17mpg city. But my ex- buddy (much respect to my infiniti) did 14mpg city.

That said, I have lead foot and do I give a damn about fuel economy any car I drive? My answer is an emphatic NO!

It's difficult to answer your question because car manufacturers strive instead to make their cars fuel-economical. However, I can tell you that on an average, Toyota does the better job on fuel economy.

its not true... Very far from it..
Try volks and u wil be impressed. Toyota is not at all..even audi , hondas , mitsubishi are beta than toyota in terms of fuel economy
