Why Am I Still Thin? by Aedesmuskeeto: 10:44am On Oct 02, 2013
Hi, I recently turned 20 and I'm underweight (naturally, high metabolism) and I can't stand it. I weigh 59kg. People always say "OMG!!, you look like a stick". This has caused a serious self-esteem decline.

Pls i have some questions

1)am i through puberty yet? If so,
2. i only grew massively in height during my puberty growth spurt and nothing else( i still have these girly thin arms, fingers, skinny wrists, flat chest, shoulder and waist width remains the same, like my manhood never grew since i was born)

so, Why didn't my skeletal frame take a manly shape while i was going through puberty?

3. Of course you might think i inherited my parent genes but hey, my dad's a muscular man with good physique, mom's a fat woman so I don't think gene is the problem. Even my 15yr old bro just started showing signs of manly physique(since he just started puberty).

4. You might think i lack high bone mass due to low testosterone. i have these massive body hair which indicates high testo.

Everytime i look in the mirror hoping to see a young man with broad shoulders and wide chest, all i see is a 20yr old man in a 14yr old's body. It sucks...

Pls i need advises..

I think you need to talk to your parents about seeing a doctor, if you're nt cool wt that then you need to go see one yourself. It may not be anything really but just to allay your fears.
You can start wt checking out a general hospital if you're in Naija, if there's need you may then get referred to the right place.
Cheers!
