LOKOJA - A 53-year-old man, has been arrested by police in Lokoja for allegedly indulging in sexual intercourse with his two daughters aged 15 years and 20 years.

The state Acting Commissioner of Police , Mr. Austin Ebvakhavbokun, told newsmen in Lokoja that the suspect was caught in the act by his son who later reported the matter to the police.

He said the man gave himself out when he threatened to kill his son for his audacity to challenge him.

According to him, the threat made the son, a secondary school student, to report the matter to the police.

“Detectives immediately rushed to the scene to arrest the suspect,’’ the police chief said.

Police said investigations revealed that the suspect had been involved in serial sexual acts with his daughters for the past 10 years.

The suspect when interviewed by newsmen, admitted having sex with his daughters to cure “ their slimming ailment.”

He claimed that the sex cure was recommended to him 11 years ago by a herbalist based in Omupo, Kwara.

The suspect confessed that he had been having sex with his 20-year-old first daughter for the past five years when she was 15 years old.

He also confessed without remorse that he had been having sex with his 15-year-old daughter who also happened to be his last child.

Police said the suspect would be charged to court very soon.
