No fewer than 40 persons sustained various degree of injury on Friday during a bloody clash between rival factions of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ogun state.
The fracas, occurred around 4pm at the state Secretariat of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) , one of the legacy parties that fused into APC at Leme along Abiola, Abeokuta.
The party’s Secretariat which has been repainted in APC colour was damaged while some cars parked in the front were not spared as members of the factions used guns, cutlasses, broken bottles as well as other dangerous weapons freely during the clash.

Many will not open this thread because to them it's not a verified news and the thread will be infested with vitriols and primordial foulness.

During the build up to the 2007 guber election in Ogun State, then Senator Ibikunle Amosun, newly defected from PDP to ANPP (now Governor Amosun, formerly of ACN and now of APC) was seen on TV leading a team of supporters and cutlass carrying thugs chanting "OGD, o n f'iku sere...." meaning "OGD is toying with death....". The same Governor was a frat man when he was at Ogun State Polytechnic (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic).

I just pity people who are under the illusion that there is anything progressive in this people. They are all the same whether in PDP, ACN, APC or whatever. They are all "jegudujera"!!!!
